Today on the Workout Wednesday I thought it might be fun to share a couples workout that I recently did! This can be with anyone!! Kate and I (Anne) usually do all of our workouts together and find it so much more motivating and gives you that extra push you need.
WORKOUT:
Location: Turf Field, Grass, Outside
*150’s (staying within 50 yard line)
- Start on the end line & your partner starts on the 50 yard line
- (1 person) Sprint to the 50 yard line
- (2nd person) Start your sprint once your partner hits the 50 yd
- You will do the next 100 yds together! It is so helpful because your partner is in front of you and you have to try and catch up!!
- *stop once you do 150 you’ll both end up on back on the end line & 50 yard line. (50 yds & back, 50 yd stop once you hit 150 yards)
- —-RESTย 1 minute in between —-
- Alternate who starts, do 8-10 sets!
ABS:
- Partner abs: lay on the turf and have you partner stand near your head. Hold on to his/her ankles & have them throw your legs to the ground **Keep your legs straight & don’t let them touch the ground!** Do 15 reps
- 40 Russian twists
- 15 suitcases
- 10 sit ups
- 10 jumping squats, partner holds in a plank, then switch!
Matt & I always love getting to the field for workouts! We both plays D1 lacrosse at UMass and being back on the turf brings back so many happy memories + it’s so different than the normal treadmill workout. Below are some workout clothes!
