START:
20 Jumping Jacks
10 Jump squats
40 Mountain Climbers (Total, 20 each)
15 Tricep Dips (use table or chair)
* Repeat for total of 3 complete sets
MIDDLE:ย PLANK * Stay up for continuously 3 minutes on elbows
Minute 1:
30 second hold CENTER
15 seconds RIGHT side
15 second LEFT side
Minute 2:
30 Seconds back CENTER (rock forward & back)
15 second RIGHT (dip your hip)
15 second LEFT (dip your hip)
Minute 3:ย *repeat minute 1
END: 1 Mile cool down
I usually start at speed 7 and cool down to speed 6.5
*Adjust it to find your speed. Some times I worry too much about how far I’m running- instead just use this cool down for you to round off a great workout.
Sometimes I get stuck in a routine of running first then rushing through abs, arms, etc. This workout focuses on all of the same things as before, but switching it around to use running as a cool down.
