Happy Workout Wednesday! Anne and I did this workout over the weekend and wanted to share it today. It felt so nice getting back on a turf field to do some running, it always is one of our favorite workouts because our memories come back from college! If your near a high school chances are there is a track or turf field so definitely give this a try. We love creating our own workouts and constantly switching it up- this one is perfect if you only have 20 minutes because it keeps you focused on the task.
STEP 1: FULL BODY
- 16 total split squats (8 each side) *holding 10 pound weight
- 10 push-ups
- 15 triceps (use a bench or a chair, keep your legs straight)
- 30 second plank hold
- 15 second squat hold
Total time: 5 minutes
STEP 2: ABS
- 50 Russian twists
- 10 crunches
- 30 toe touches
- 20 bicycles
- 10 sit-ups
Total time: 5 minutes
STEP 3: RUNNING
5 x 50 yd sprints with 50 yard jog back *Catch your breath on the jog back!
Total time: 10 minutes
*REPEAT each step as much as possible within the time allotted*
