Pines and Palms Guide to Disney

You could say that the three of us are pros at Disney…having gone over 30-40 times each! With our recent trip coming up we are all so excited to reunite in the most magical place on earth! Here’s our guide from our years of experience to all you new Disney go-ers out there! We are excited to explore all the rides and dining experiences having all not been in a few years!!

Disney’s BoardWalk: Boardwalk, Yacht and Beach Club, Swan and Dolphin Resorts are spaced out around “Disney’s BoardWalk”. We have spent so many years around this boardwalk! Its filled with cute little shops, ice cream, and perfect for a relaxing nightly stroll. This boardwalk also connects to Epcot and Hollywood Studios, making is easy to walk to the parks/ watch the fireworks at night.

Disney Springs (aka Downtown Disney): Loving this option for a night out! Disney Springs, recently changed name from Downtown Disney, filled with over 50 brand name shops and many dining options

Favorite stores you’ll find there: Kate Spade, Free People, Francesca’s, Biddidi Boodidi Boutique (for those little kiddies), Alex and Ani, Lilly Pulitzer, Zara, American Threads and my favorite The World Of Disney store (everything disney you will ever need)!

I love this area because of the culture and variety of different types of food and ethnicities, Some of our favorite places to eat are:

Lunch: Earl of Sandwich

Dinner: Splitsville (bowling, food and drinks!), Wolfgang Puck Grand Cafe/ (express too)

Dessert: The Ghirardelli Ice Cream Shop (always end up here by the end of the night), Sprinkles

Drinks: Dockside Margaritas, Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant

The Parks: favorite, must-go-on rides!

Epcot: Test Track, Soarin’, Spaceship Earth, Frozen Ever After (NEW!)

This is definitely the park you would want to plan your meals at! Whether it’s grabbing something on the go or dining in both are great options! Just get your RESERVATIONS in asap!!

Animal Kingdom: Expedition Everest, Kilimanjaro Safaris, It’s Tough To Be A Bug, Kali River Rapids

Magic Kingdom: You have to go to all the mountains–> Space, Splash and Thunder!, Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, The Hall of Presidents (so cool and educational), Pirates of the Caribbean, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train!

Hollywood Studios: Dining–> Sci-Fi (my fav!!) 50’s Prime Time Café

Rides: Rockin’ Roller coaster (must!!), The Great Movie Ride (awesome to see the history behind film all of a ride), Star Wars..everything 🙂
