Kate and Anne here! Sharing what we have been up to in wedding planning lately! With the holiday’s now over, I have a feeling time is going to be moving pretty quick! Joel & I (Kate) are getting married in less than 6 months and Anne and Matt 7 months!! It is seriously so much fun getting to plan together! We use to grow up thinking about this day and that fact that we get to do it together seems like a dream! For those of you that don’t know we all met in college, Joel and Matt are both the same age (two weeks apart) and knew each of each other a bit already since they both played sports at UMass and were juniors when they met us. We always joke we made their connection stronger since we’d go on weekly date double dates and go to each others sporting events (Joel, hockey & Matt, lacrosse)! Can not wait for each other’s weddings!!
Other updates are that we are not using wedding planners or companies, we are doing the planning ourselves with the help of our family, we hired our wedding planner named… mom! She planned Grace’s down to every detail and it was so beautiful! Honestly, once we got some of the big things out of the way it slowed down a bit and hasn’t been as crazy as I always thought. We love hearing from all you bride to be’s about where you are in the process. We both are looking for shower dresses and starting wedding registry! What are some must haves?!

Currently: sweating for the wedding! We use this term so much! Even though its not just because of the wedding, but instead trying to stick to our new year goals of staying healthy! It is nice to have a goal to work towards, I mean of course who doesn’t want to look their best on their wedding day!
Workouts: 4-5 times a week treadmill workouts running between 2.5-4.5 miles + abs & arms. Usually we push to workout Monday-Friday, taking one weekday off (took Thursday off this week) and Saturday or Sunday light run. Sometimes the weekends are crazy busy so don’t get too caught up if you can’t workout on the weekend!
Arms & Abs: trying to get toned by doing mostly bodyweight activities or 10-15 lbs weights. 20 Push-ups, 20 chair triceps, 30 toes touches, 40 Russian twists Or if we are pressed for time we do a 4-6 minute plank- the more you do planks the body remembers so you can keep holding it longer and longer. Alternate on your elbows, then each side for 30 seconds at a time staying up in between switching!
Also, a few of you have been asking for shower and rehearsal dresses! Here are a few of our favorites right now!
