As most of you know I, Anne, postponed our August (Massachusetts) wedding to November. We are hopeful that when November comes we will be able to get married even with restrictions. Right now in Massachusetts we are able to have groups of 25 people indoor and up to 100 people outdoor. No bars open and no dancing. Of course, we want to dance so we are hoping that restrictions change on that.
Sharing a few things to do now if your wedding was postponed and what’s to come if you’re newly engaged!
You postponed your wedding, what to do now:
- Get all the little details done now. Transportation for the reception, hotel etc, songs list for the DJ and instrumentals, photography & videography must have questionnaires
- Organize all the bridal party gifts
- Outfits to get ready in. I’m going to have these robes & maybe some pjs
- If you and your gfs are down for travel organize a little trip to look forward to. Winery weekend or relax by the pool! We’re thinking of rescheduling our ATX bachelorette party to September (even with restrictions) Love these pullovers for the girls! You can get custom orders of 12+ thinking of getting AUSTIN ๐
- Decor for your wedding. Ours went from summer to fall so we will have to tweak a few things!
- Favors, shawls & guest bags!
- The next morning outfit – love these pants & blazer
- Maybe with your extra time you find you want a party dress!
If you just got engaged!
- Book your venue & start working on researching your vendors! 2021 will be a booked year.
- Soak in the moments on being newly engaged. Yesterday the weather felt like fall and it instantly brought me back to one of the best weekends/month of my life.
- Go on summer dates. Love winery trips & beach trips with friends!
Last weekend was what was suppose to be Kate and Joel wedding. It was such a difficult day for both of them and my heart broke for what would have been such a special day with family and friends. I know how much Kate and Joel appreciated the calls and texts. If you know anyone that had to postpone their wedding call or message them on what would have been their original wedding. They will alway remember that!
