Wedding Wednesday

For me, May brings memories of last year, when my husband proposed in Savannah, GA. It was on a horse and buggy ride, very well planned on his part! He had told me we were going to dinner at the Pink house > http://www.plantersinnsavannah.com/the-olde-pink-house/ I didnt think too much into it and just worried about my outfit as usual! Good thing it was cute, or at least I think so! I was wearing a similar dress to this and these shoes. He had the buggy pick us up at the hotel and surprised me mid trip at the Forsyth water fountain. After throwing our coins into the fountain, I asked him what he wished for, he said “he wishes I would say yes”, as he pulled a ring out of his boots! ! He said I grabbed the ring and didnt answer, but I told him he was too slow, and dont really remember much other than him pulling a huge box from his boot!

Anyways, a year came and went so fast! Married already and moved to Florida! What a year.

Of course after getting engaged my mind turns to shopping… I remember searching high and low for the perfect shower dress, engagement party (not that I had one, but a dress for a just incase occasion!), bachelorette party dress, rehearsal dress, shower dress etc! There is no rule that they have to be white, but this year, of course when I don’t need one, I have seen so many gorgeous white dresses for all occasions! I put together some of my favorites below!
