It’s been a little since we shared a Wedding Wednesday! Anne and I love reliving our special days from October and November and sharing new details as they come up. To all our new brides and current brides following we just want you all to know that we are thinking of you all! The planning, re-planning, the changing of plans and the unexpected will all be worth it once you have your special day and no matter how it plays out it will be perfect! Anne and I both planned our re-scheduled weddings within a month and ended up getting married three weeks apart at new venues and new guest counts. We shared a major Q&A answering all questions HERE.
Today we wanted to share our ideas for table names, favors & guest welcome bags. These were some of our favorite items to do when planning! Favors & guest welcome bags I know sometimes get cut out of budget, but if you can fit it in your budget we highly suggest it! It’s such a nice way to thank your guest for making the trip and for us our guests were so appreciative. We even added itineraries into each guest bag!

We decided to have some fun with this and do names of places and/or teams we have either both played on or lived! We did our college sports of course “UMass Lacrosse” & “UMass Hockey” where our college friends sat, but we also had a Dallas Stars table, Montreal Canadiens, the Portland Pirates (Joel’s first pro team) and other teams! FYI if you do professional sports teams be aware that some sites won’t let these be printed due to licensing issues. We didn’t realize this until after we ordered, luckily we ordered blanks and our circuit machine saved the day!

MORE DETAILS
Reflecting back on these details it was still important to us to do all these the things we always dreamed of when planning our weddings. Whether it was 30 or 130 people everything came out perfect and made us so happy! Putting together the welcome bags with special touches from our lives, using our Cricut to create table names of happy moments, and seeing the look on our guest’s faces taking home their favors were unforgettable moments. Even though we only had a small group staying over at the hotels it was fun added an itinerary, something we’ve always loved! Don’t let your change of plans come between any details you’ve always dreamed of.
