So crazy to type that! We are moving again, less than two years later.
If your new here, my husband is in the military and we moved from Eglin aka Destin, Florida to Georgia almost two years a go. This move is not a military move. I sometimes try to share some of the houses he flips on the side in our Instagram story because they are so fun to see, at least for me. This is actually one of the houses he found to flip. It was too good of find not to move into! It is about 40 min from our house now, so it does make his work commute a little further, but he is still working from home for now. Anyways, I am excited is it close to downtown. I love our house now and neighborhood so much so it will be hard to move for sure! So many things factored into this decision, school districts, airport distance, city distance and obviously the distance to Dunks. LOL kind of serious. Now it takes me 20 min one way to go get a coffee, but our new house will have one a mile a way. Go figure they are building one now 2 miles from our house now that we are moving out! There is also a candy store and ice cream store within walking distance. It will be quite the change since we are on a quiet street now! This will not be our forever home so it will good to change it up for a little ( I say this now). We’ll see!
We have had this house since around October, I have even shared it in story on instagram. It is finally being worked on and we are hoping to move in June the latest! So after baby. It will be a crazy time for sure. They layout is totally different than our house now (which I love so much)! It was built around 1900 and pretty much had no kitchen so the house is undergoing major changes, we are hoping to keep and refinish the original floors though. I am excited to finally put the boys in a room together! It is the perfect time to make a transition! Mason seems to understand we are moving he loves his houses now so much so I will try to make it extra special and probably add some CARS decor to his room as much as I don’t want to. Also excited about decorating the nursery. So that will all happen later! I will be sure to share details and finds! To be honest, it is very tough and I have such a hard time making my mind up on anything and everything from outdoor porch fans to fixture colors!! Who knew there are so many choices!! Below are something I got so far!! NOT MUCH considering we need all new bathrooms, paint, lights, tiles ect!! LOL! Thanks for following along!!
