Today is a special day for us!(Kate & Anne) Today marks the day of our 24th birthday!! Year after year one thing that never changes is the love and happiness that comes with sharing a birthday. Not only do we find joy in sharing a birthday, but we also find joy and happiness in spending each and every day together. We say it all the time, but we are truly soul mates ๐ Being a twin is an unbelievable bond and truly unexplainable. For us at least, it is more than just a best friend.
The two of us barely ever fight- if we do it lasts like 5 seconds then we are over it! I know it’s weird but we can literally read each others minds haha like giving each other a look and knowing what each other is thinking! Sometimes we freak each other out! We always joke that we are like a married couple- we alternate who makes breakfast/lunch/dinner, who does the laundry or who drives.
Growing up our parents always let us make our own decisions and NEVER tried to separate us. We had a lot of people try to separate us in classes and would say things like “they need to find their on identity” … we knew then like we know now and that is that we love being together.
A message to all twins: Never let anyone tell you you can’t do something TOGETHER. We had people tell us that a coach wouldn’t take twins for a D1 lacrosse, or that a company would never hire twins together…

- Kate is 2 minutes older
- We work together
- Anne’s boyfriend is a twin too!
- We have matching Jeep Wranglers (first purchase after we graduated & got jobs!)
- We pretty much like all the same food- Anne likes more fruit
- Drink the same coffee- Dunkins Carmel swirl, 2 creams Haha!
- We hear “Are you twins?” almost everyday anywhere from 1 – 10 times! We never mind because we love being twins. We wish we put a quarter away every time we heard that! lol
- Only time we are apart is when we are visiting our boyfriends! (fun fact we all met in college)!
- Both played defense for the UMASS Amherst women’s lacrosse team!
- We were the last born in our family of six!
- This year we became aunts to Baby Nora (1 year) and Baby Mason (almost 4 month)!! The greatest thing in the world
- Kate’s bf plays professional hockey! New season with a new team the Arizona Coyotes
