Mason is almost 6 months old and has already been on quite a few flights. Each time it get easier, knowing what works and what I need to pack. I listed our top items for car/hotel/airplanes/ect for me and Mason. Although now that he is getting older he is sleeping less on the plane…so maybe its not easier !
Also recommend feeding at take offs and landing to help their ears pop and just gate checking stroller.
It is not easy travelling, but with our family across the country its something we have to do:)
also how cool is this vera bradley tote that attaches to my roller??
- puppy pads or disposable changing pad…. a must for airports and public bathrooms
- clorox wipes…. we wipe the seats of the plane, hotel, ect! People def think we are crazy lol!
- Snacks – because we never have time to casually stop somewhere. I love one bars and order them on Amazon.
- Pacifiers nearby
- pacifier holder – we can only use MAM pacifiers lol
- pacifier wipes– swear by these
- Ready made formula bottles
- Sophia the giraffe…literally every baby I saw in the airport had one
- a change of clothes – I like the onsies.. easy to change and keeps him warm
- blankets. This little giraffe one is Mason’s favorite
- lipgloss – just got this new one
- Hand sanitizer
- Another Toy… we like this one
- Crib sheets or pack and play sheets when using a hotel. Call the hotel and find out what they have.
- We also bring the dock a tot if driving somewhere
- TIP- if possible select your seat on the airplane. We didn’t and got back middle.. ugh
- When flying your baby is allowed one checked item for free on most airlines
- Bibs- how cute are these ones!?ย
- burp clothes
- We love our lily jade diaper backpack because it has so much room and allows me to carry Mason at the same time. I have my eye on this one too
Hope these tips help and if anyone has anything else that works please let us know! Thanks for stopping by! XO
