Hey guys! Happy mid-week! It always feels so hard getting into the swing of things after a nice relaxing, family weekend. Anne and I (Kate) are traveling to Florida tomorrow for work so wanted to share a quick workout we did before our travel schedule. Working out is a nice way to clear our heads and release stress so sometimes on work trips its hard to have a second to do that!
Workout Wednesdayย
Step 1: Every half mile (.5) increase the incline to 3+ keeping your speed the same. Try to keep your speed at 7 or higher, it should feel like your running up the hill. After 1 minute lower your incline back down to 0.
*Also, an alternative to this tredmill workout would be finding a steep hill and running hill sprints & jogging down the hill after you reach the top.
Step 2: Abs, Arms, Squats
- Grab a 10 lb weight- start with 10 squats lifting the weight over your head
- Go right into 50 total Russian twists
- Then right into- 15 full sit ups holding the weight above your head
- End with 15 push ups
*Take a minute break then repeat these 4 steps 2 more times! Between the step 1 & step 2 our legs and arms were still sore 2 days later!!
