Summer is here for sure in Florida which means boating, beach and cook out season for us. It has already been in the 90s here and is only getting hotter! Something that reminds me of summer is Dr Pepper! It always brings me back to BBQs, baseball games, beach days or days out on the boat. My family has a beach house in Cape Cod and every single summer we go there, we drink Dr Pepper and it brings back memories of bon fires and fireworks! Although, I no longer get to spend my entire summer there, as we now live in Florida, it is so nice to have something to remind me of my past summers on the Cape. Another way we would enjoy Dr Pepper was to add a scoop of vanilla ice cream to a nice cold glass. I recently introduced this to my husband and friends and everyone is obsessed!
So far every weekend this summer, well since April at least, has been packed with a get together, I feel like summer is already flying by! It seems to go even faster once the Fourth of July hits! Last weekend we met a few friends on the beach and this weekend we are hosting a BBQ and probably going to a friends pool. I canโt think of anything better than a Dr Pepper to go with burgers and hot dogs! Keeping busy makes summer fly by for sure.
Whether we are going somewhere or hosting I always want to make sure we have or bring something everyone loves! I always notice at the end of an event all of the Dr Pepperโs are gone. It takes the stress away for sure being able to find something to bring. Also, I am not much of a cook and Mason makes it a little tricky these days to get ready to go anywhere in general with him grabbing my legs all day. I love the convenience of grabbing a couple 12 packs of Dr Pepper from my local Walmart and throwing them in the cooler or fridge. ย I actually order all of my groceries online and pick them up at Walmart pick up which makes life so much easier! I make sure to order a couple extra cases tor Dr Pepper to have on hand at all times. We were in for a nice surprise when I opened my Walmart bags to find the latest cans! The latest cans I picked up are so fun and unique theyโre the first thing to disappear from the cooler at every get together so far this summer. They were made for millennials, by millennials. These โPick Your Pepperโ cans are something that everyone loves which is a major plus!
