Splurges & Saves

After graduation from college and entering the “real” world I noticed myself straying away from certain things and stores and focusing on real investment purchases. Aka not buying 200 things from forever 21, washing it once and it shrinking! The worst. All those little cheap purchases end up adding up and turn out to be a waste because of the quality- it just doesn’t last. Don’t get me wrong I don’t judge when it comes to pricing on clothes haha but there are some things I’ve made investments on and haven’t regretted it at all! LOL I love the word “investment” its always nice way to justify a big purchase, am I right?!

As for things I save on- I think there is nothing wrong with taking a chance and trying a trend with something less expensive! I’m all for a good deal no matter where it’s from!

Here is my take on what you should SPLURGE on

3 Season Jacket– like THIS one. I have THIS one (& its on sale)!
Tote– THIS one or THIS one (both I use all the time and seriously don’t know what I did before)
Jeans
Booties– ones that you would wear everyday!
Sunglasses– these ones are my fav! Makes such a difference having a nice pair.

Sweaters– Some of my favorite sweaters, like THIS one and THIS one, have been under $50!
Trendy shoes- shoes that you’re not likely to wear all the time like THESE ones and THESE ones!
