Fun fact: Yesterday morning Matt and I woke up really early, got ready and headed into D.C. to see the cherry blossoms! Since I was traveling last week for work I missed the peak, which only last about 3 days. Although, the peak bloom was over the peaceful and calm area was a perfect start to the day + there were a few trees still blossoming! We were going to headed in this weekend, but didn’t want to wait any longer so we took the spontaneous drive into the city. I love little trips and fun activities that keep us excited! (DC is about 25 miles from us & luckily we were early enough to not hit the AM commute).
