Amazon tunic sweater (size medium)- Maternity faux leather leggings (size small)- UPPAbaby VISTA V2 Stroller system
What an exciting week it has been, Anne announcing her pregnancy! So excited and blessed to be going on this journey together and most importantly so excited for Anne and Matt in this next and best adventure! Thank you all so much for the well wishes throughout this week! We are all so thrilled! Right now our babies will be around 16 weeks apart + with our siblings children, there will be a total of 9 under 6 years old! Lucky to have the best role models to look up to in our parents and our siblings!
I’ve had a few requests to share some pregnancy must-haves! To be honest the first few months there wasn’t truly anything I “needed” especially for pregnancy it was more so cutting things out, like certain foods and taking a closer look at things such as safe make-up or cleaning products. However, being 29 weeks there are certainly things I have come to need more so along in pregnancy!
Here are some must-haves!
- Crackers!! Especially in the first trimester I would need snacks and crackers by my bed side
- Prenatal vitamins
- starting to get uncomfortable sleeping- just ordered this full body pillow
- These pajamas– just ordered these maternity ones for Christmas & matching guys & kids ones!
- This everyday comfy bra
- This nursing sports bra– Grace loves!
- This bra for when you need to wear a real one!- no wire I bought a size up!
- Belly Oil– trying this out as soon as it comes! Also, helps with itchiness!
- Spanx faux leather maternity leggings– I don’t know what I would wear if it weren’t for these!
- Maternity jeans- skinny jeans (size down once from normal size) & perfect vintage (both over the belly)
- Anne’s maternity jeans (side panel, order normal size)
- Water Bottle
- Align leggings– not maternity, but seriously comfier than my maternity ones! I sized up once
- my friend got me these Belly Masks– they help hydrate your belly!
- MAMA corded crew– restocked today!
- Maternity t-shirt
- One of our followers suggested slip on sneakers for later in pregnancy! Love these Nike ones!
- Amazon sweater dress– non maternity, but such a great item for all stages! It’s one size fits most.
- Amazon tunic sweater- I have this in 3 colors, sized up once and I don’t know what I would wear without this!
- Maternity/ Nursing Tank & nursing/pumping/maternity bra– so excited to try this out, I’ve heard such great things about this company and about the co-owners that launched- both mothers who wanted something comfortable and practical!
Things we’ve cut out:
- aerosols
- certain make-up like this Shape Tape concealer, Tula Sugar Scrub
- Any face/eye creams with retinol
- Minimal caffeine per day- you all know I haven’t been loving coffee, but both Anne and I have limited coffee/caffeine to one cup or less per day.
- Sleeping on my back!! Side sleeping on your left is recommended after 20 weeks!
Helpful tips:
- 15 minute beauty– this has been too helpful- she covers pretty much every brand of make-up/skincare that you can and can’t use during pregnancy!
- Just know and listen to your body- for me running after the beginning of the second trimester didn’t feel right and for Anne I know her doctor suggested that she just focus on staying hydrated because running was leaving her too dehydrated. If it doesn’t feel right then don’t do it, but find alternatives instead- for me its walking daily!
What we already decided on!
- UPPAbaby VISTA V2 stroller system and carseat! I’ve been obsessed with this ever since used it for the babies! So excited & love all the new colors! Sharing more on instagram today!
- bassinet– we decided to go with the Halo Bassinet that has the vibrate and sound features! We have had a ton of friends recommend the Snoo, but after researching and thinking about how he won’t be in the bassinet for long, I just can’t pull the trigger on it.
- Owlet baby sock monitor dream duo– this is the newest version of the Owlet!
- Target registry favorites HERE
I’ll share more blog posts on more things as we decide & my hospital bag once we get even closer!
