Grace here! About 9 weeks since Jackson was born! It is finally getting a little easier. He is almost sleeping the night and Mason is warming up to his little brother. The first few weeks were rough ( I mean it still is LOL!) Finally starting to feel a little normal, not totally. Not trying to complain at all! So lucky to have two precious boys! Just wanted to share a little hoping some of you can relate or this can help!
Besides our Disney Trip we barely leave the house. (Disney I had one sister fly down to drive with us there and the other one drove back with us) Also we only did a half day in park . I worry about germs ect! I have hand wipes everywhere! I get anxiety about going places alone with both of them. Mason is always running full speed and Jackson is still so needy because hes a baby. I actually joined the gym a couple weeks a go and it is nice to get out of the house alone for a little bit. I struggle with going at night because I am such a morning person! Overall I recommend getting out alone it gets easier! We are also starting to get into a routine with them napping at the same time, which is so nice! Some other tips below as well as some post partum must haves I learned after two!!
- Order your groceries online! I love this so much! I don’t have to waste time walking around the market – plus all the germs there! LOL
- This stroller– I know its cold in most places still but we literally walk everywhere ! It is so nice to get out. I have this adapter for it. Be sure to check if your carseat works with the bob jogger
- Jeans – This pair worked til I was 8 months preg and great after. They are non maternity and I still love!
- Try to cook meals and food ahead of time or when the baby is sleeping. My husband started doubling recipes a couple months before Jackson was born. He froze them and grabs them whenever because its so hard to find time to make dinner.
- I get a lot of questions about which belly bandit I got. I used the BFF belly bandit for both babies. Wore it to sleep too!
- Hydroflask helps me with water drinking ( I hate water!!)
- Amazon PRIME – GET IT!! Diapers, wipes, anything you need is delivered in 2 days free (after fee)
- Get out of the house . I have mentioned I bought the BBG sweat app. It actually hasn’t been going well until 2 weeks a go when I joined the gym. It is a great app to do a workout at home, but for me personally it helps to be at the gym. When I am home I find so many other things to do or someone is crying!
- Get your coffee all ready at night. Also moms you need this cup!!
- Workout clothes ! I personally prefer sports bras (these ones) for nursing and have this tank in every color it is so good. Wearing a Medium below.
For me, putting on a cute workout outfit makes me feel a tiny bit put together! This white pair is on my wish list!!
