Hi guys! Today on the blog we are sharing some new year’s resolutions! Throughout 2019 I found that my resolutions stuck with me all throughout the year and were something I often found myself referencing. Even when life gets hectic and busy it was nice to have a little reminder of the goals we set ๐ See our 2020 goals below:
Anne’s Resolutions:
- Drink more water: planning filling up this Yeti everyday with water ๐
- Read more: putting my phone down, although this can be hard being a blogger, there is always 20 minutes at night or in the morning.
- A.M. workouts: Working full time and blogging full time I often find myself at the gym past 7pm and then not eating dinner until late. Getting up in the AM is not always easy, but it is the best feeling after!
- Go to bed earlier: Going to bed before midnight is a rare these days! Prioritizing the day and getting thing done in a timely manner. Along with working 2 jobs and planning a wedding the nights can get long.
- Meditate/ unwind: Whether it’s taking some deep breathes, adding in a yoga session or listening to calming music, I want to try this in the new year!
Kate’s Resolutions:
- Stay organized! Between moving for hockey season every year twice a year, two weddings and working 2 jobs my goal is to stay ahead of things & organized as much as possible!
- Drink more water
- Better at planning– whether it’s simply making dinner reservations or seeing friends I haven’t seen in a while I need to be better at this!
- Workouts – I work out to feel good, it’s not about my weight! 4 times a week minimum & try to avoid taking more than a week off!
- Being more open! Writing more open and honest blog posts is one of our goals for Pines & Palms
Grace’s Resolutions
- Drink more water – less coffee. After Jackson I was able to not go back to caffeine for a while and it felt amazing! I hate being dependent on something.
- Self care- Calling to make those doctors appointments I have been putting off since we moved. First off, finding new doctors. Always a struggle with moving. Actually on hold right now.
- Skin care routine- My skin is not getting any younger and I am so lazy about putting on skin creams ect. when I go to bed too late…on that note…
- Go to bed earlier– I stay up way too late working on blogs or cleaning up since its hard to do anything during the day while watching the boys. I would like to wake up earlier to workout and get a few things done before they wake up.
- Simplify- less clothes, toys, shoes etc. I know it doesn’t make much sense as being a blogger is to share the latest items but by this I mean sharing the most practical, useful, items. On that note I would like to start with organizing one room at a time. Since we moved last May it was helpful in getting rid of a lot of stuff and donating. I hope to keep up with it.
