Mondays are rough…so today on the blog we added some motivation to help get through the monday blues
We are going to take you through a quick work out that will give you energy and not take up your whole night!
CARDIO
Step 1: Warm up on the treadmill, make sure you stretch!
Step 2: Start with a JOG at 6.2 mph or however your treadmill is set up (just make sure it is a good pace) keep this pace for 1 minute
Step 3: At the minute marker increase your speed to a sprint/ fast run we usually go around 8.0 mph. Keep this pace for 1 minute
Step 4: Continue this sequence of jog/ spring for 15- 20 minutes or at least 2 miles.
This jog for 1 minute, sprint for 1 minute sequence will help you recover and get your heart rate really going. It will get easier after the first couple!
ABs & ARMs
A. 30 toe-touches
B. 20 crunches
C. 40 russian twists (with your feet in the air & balancing on your bottom, move your hands side to side in a twisting motion)
D. 15 push- ups
E. 15 triceps (find a sturdy bench and place your arms behind you, holding onto the bench with your hands facing forward move up & down)
This is 1 set..Repeat this set 3 times!
