Sharing a recap of our recent mini-moon in The White Mountains and some mini-moon ideas for all our fellow brides!
- The White Mountains getaway – (if you are local to New England) post-wedding we went to The Mountain View Grand for 2 nights and wow it was amazing! Not only were the views breathtaking, but it was so relaxing. We walked around the property, ordered room service and sat out in the Adirondack chairs with coffee. On the way out we drove through North Conway, NH and grabbed coffee.
- Staycation – We basically did this when we got back to VA. It felt so nice to just settle into our new house. Try a movie marathon, no phones, and take-out. Winery weekend!
- Ski Aprรฉs – head up to the mountains or to a cabin for a weekend away.
- Get matching couples pajamas
- Go back to the stop you first met or got engaged (ours would have been Amherst, MA!) and spend the weekend going to all your favorite places.
We only took a few days off because we knew we might want to take a longer trip later. It was just the perfect amount of time to unwind, relax and lounge.
