Happy Valentine’s day (almost)! Whether its your significant other, your girl friends, guy friends or your family, Valentine’s is always a nice day of reminder to show someone you care. What I remember most about this day is always receiving a valentine’s from my grandma- no matter where we were she would always get that special valentine to us no matter what. So whoever your celebrating with just enjoy the day of love!
My valentine is miles away, but always close to my heart. For most of you that don’t know we met in college four years ago- now he is a professional hockey player and with him traveling and my job here in massachusetts sometimes it feels impossible to see each other. I’ll never forget four valentine’s ago, we had just began dating so I didn’t thin he would do anything, I sure didn’t do anything! haha but I came down my freshman dorm stairs to see Joel standing there with pink roses and a pink teddy bear (he probably got made fun of for weeks from his hockey team) but it had been the sweetest thing that anyone had every done and changed my mind forever about Valentines day! Long distance is definitely tough- this is the third year of it, but those moments like that on valentines day are some that I will never forget.
