A lot of big items we “splurge” on we call investment pieces and it’s also a good way to convince yourself you’re spending you money wisely lol!ย With all these trends happening around us it can be hard to figure out what to invest on vs just trying the trend. Below are some key investment pieces.
Some of our investment pieces vary and are actually not too expensive, but to me and Kate + all you college kids out we got your back.
Jean Jacket – Camo Tee – Leggings – Sneakers

- A nice, good quality jean jacket. These never go out of style and you can get away with the same one year after year. The right one will actually get better with age!
- Leather tote. These bags have seriously been through a lot. Plane rides, airports, work trips, rain & snow and they still look and feel good. You won’t have to replace it like you would a cheaper leather bag. Kate has this smaller one too
- A pair of Marc Fisher espadrilles. We went with the black and beige so that throughout the years they will continue to go with everything!
- A nice designer purse. We love our Louis Vuittons MM size. Such a classic, amazing piece we’ll have forever! Also, this is a great satchel that will be a classic for years to come!
- Classic & chic coat. I have this Club Monaco one! Love this one (on sale too!)
- Jewelry, like this David Yurman braceletย , is definitely one of those things I learned to invest in. Instead of buying a bunch of cheaper quality look-a-likes you could splurge for the real thing and have that for years. I love my David Yurman bracelet, the quality, weight & size of it is a perfect fit.
- Sunglasses. Love to splurge on ones like THIS and save on trendy ones like THIS
