Hard to believe its been a week since Jackson arrived. It sure has gone by fast! He is such a good baby! I will share his birth story later. I never got around to posting hospital bag essentials so I wanted to share and had a lot of requests for this ๐ I hope it helps! This being my second baby I narrowed things down.
FIRST – find out what your hospital has. Our had diapers for the baby, pads, blankets, socks… then decide what you want to bring of your own. Some people like to bring their own gowns… I didn’t.
FOR ME..
I brought this robe .
Nursing Bras . These are comfy! Also nipple cream .
belly bandit – I swore by wearing this after Mason. It helps shrink your uterus and stomach and for me offers back support. I wear almost 24/7 LOL! This one is another option.
witch hazel pads for your behind
Hard candy -probably not allowed I just felt like my mouth was always dry!
Slippers – I brought this cheap pair.. I didn’t want my Ugg slippers touching a hospital.
Pajamas – I brought this pair.
Outfit for home- These post partum, nursing tank ( I live in these), this cardigan and mules (because bending is hard) to wear home.
toiletries – simple like make up remover, cc cream and some make up for picts. I had lashes done so it was great not having to worry about that . Hair elastics…I brought hair dryer and straightener but didn’t use. Dry shampoo, deodorant
Chargers, Camera, computer , Snacks , I brought seltzer water ,I love these one bars
Make sure your other half has his bag packed also!! plenty of snacks
FOR BABY…
An outfit or two … I brought this white outfit for Mason and had it monogrammed by Logoeast Designs . I love this neutral gown .
Blankets- I love these lightweight blankets.
Baby care kit – not a must but a good idea to bring incase hospital doesnt have it all
Blanket (love these)
