Friday! Like Anne said in yesterday’s post, this week flew by! Sharing some pics below of our house reno! Yesterday the countertops finished getting installed and we used our sink for the first time! It was so fun seeing it all come together. We still have a little more to do, but wanted to share the before & after pics!
5 Things we learned:
- When painting don’t go over board with colors. We stuck to one main color and used it throughout the entire house. Kitchen, Master bedroom & hallways are all the same, light, whiteish grey from Benjamin Moore.
- Spend more now on certain things- we decided to do the kitchen now while we we’re already getting the floors done & not moved in instead of going through the whole process next year.
- Painting the shutters & trim white makes a huge difference!
- Painted all the wood work white
- Getting wallpaper off it’s a pain and takes patience, but it will come off!
SO thankful for all our family that helped get everything done in our house!
