Grace here! Going to share some favorites lately for baby and me and a little life update. I can’t believe baby Charlotte will be 5 weeks on Monday! Time is flying for sure!
MOST USED ITEMS LATELY
- In order to get anything done I wear here in this baby wrap. I honestly have tried several and this one is my favorite!
- HAAKA– if your nursing this is a major time saver! I swear by it especially now where I don’t have time to sit and pump after feeding Charlotte. You can use this on the side that you are not nursing simultaneously.
- I recently got this nursing bra and it is actually similar to this more expensive one that I love. I might like the $16 one more!
- Uppa baby stroller- My most used stroller for probably the first 6 months. I walk around the block now with the bassinette on. It can also be used for three kids. We have a extra seat for it , but I haven’t order the kickstand yet!
- This little baby seat is a fraction of the price most are these days. All three of my kids love it! It vibrate and sings. I got rid of the mamaroo and another swing we had because both boys never liked them as much as this cute space saving one!
LIFE LATELY
- We will be out of our house in less than 3 weeks and our new house isn’t ready! It was expected with covid, but I feel like we have seen every delay possible! It is a lot to process now, as we are doing the move ourselves, we were planning on slowly bringing everything over. Well now we have a couple storage units and we will live at my in laws and hopefully head to MA for a couple weeks! Of course as we get closer to the end we may just hire movers for big items! I can’t wait to get into the new house, I tried holding off on ordering new items til we get in there, but will share more about inspo for each room later!
- Lately I’ve been asked how is the transition fron 2-3. Honestly haven’t had much time to process it lol! I feel like I do not have enough hands though at any given moment in the day. Jackson is 2 and a half and Mason is 4 so they are always needing something still. However, I am so lucky they play together basically all day! The real hero is their JEEP my sisters got them HAHA! They literally drive around ALL day! That being said I think the hardest transition was 0-1 baby! It is such a total life change. Now you just know what to expect.
- Mason is doing well. His stitches came out! For anyone that missed it, Mason fell at an outdoor restaurant and hit his head on a corn hole board. Our first outing as a family of 5 ended in an ambulance and an ER trip! Thankfully he is ok but will probably have a little scar ๐ I have been telling him to walk for the last two weeks!
- I haven’t been wearing much make up because it literally just melts off me in GA. It was almost 95 today. I do love this sunscreen and light ilia make up! I think both have helped my post partum melasma. Also I have seen an improvement using this serum! I always check https://www.15minutebeauty.com/ for what is safe and nursing friendly. Of course check with your DR to!
- Post Partum over 4 weeks but have weighed the same since about 4 days after birth. I always hold onto the last ten pounds until I stop nursing. I gained a little over 30 with Charlotte, who was over a pound bigger than both boys! I felt the best after her, probably because I was so miserable towards the end. Once I am cleared to workout I hope to change my body composition back to more muscle. I hardly worked out pregnant. Mostly just walked which was different from pre pregnancy’s HIIT workouts and running. I need to be better about drinking water. I ordered these water drops !
