5 things I’m looking forward to:

1. We have a wedding date set!!!! Matt & I are getting married in October! Of course, it will be a lot smaller than we originally planned, but we are SO excited to have found a venue that could accommodate us at this time. For those of you following along with our wedding planning, unfortunately, we will not be getting married at the Barn at Gibbet Hill. Can’t wait to share where we will be getting married next week! (our original wedding was suppose to be August 16, then we postponed it to November & had to cancel that too)
2. Kate & I are turning 27 on the Tuesday, the 25th! Planning to have a wine tasting at the place Matt & I are getting married (stay tuned!!)
3. TTD this weekend: Organize bridal party gifts, finalize napkins, masks & sanitizers from FYP, get Minted invitations out!!
4. Love looking at all the fall pumpkins and decor especially for the wedding! Follow us on Pinterest to see all our the inspo we are loving!
5. Looking at patio lounge sets! Can’t believe the price of this couch & chair set over 50% off!

Date/ weekend ideas for what should be your wedding weekends

(*requested ideas for couples that had to postpone their weddings! )

1. On what would have been our wedding weekend, Matt & I went to our local winery (there’s 20+ in Northern Virginia) with a few friends & Kate came down for the weekend too to celebrate! We spent the day hanging out, having plenty of ‘cheers’ and telling stories about when we first met!
2. Go to your venue & have dinner! Our original venue was the Barn at Gibbet Hill in Groton, MA and they also have a dinner spot there!
3. Take a photo at your venue or in your Mrs./ Bride gear…because when would you ever go through something like this again!
4. Go back to where you were engaged re-create that feeling again!
5. Plan a weekend getaway with a few friends! We wanted to spend time with friends because we would have all be celebrating that weekend + it helped keep our minds busy!
6. Getaway just the two of you! Book a little hotel at the beach or up on the the mountains to relax. If you’re in NH look at the North Conway or the White Mountains. For the cape, Nantucket or MV is definitely a cute spot to get away to!
