Elite 8

For all you lacrosse lovers out there I wanted to keep you filled in on a historic moment taking place in our lives! As you all may know Kate and I play division 1 lacrosse for UMass Amherst and recently our team made it to the NCAA tournament. We made it past the first two rounds and we are currently apart of the Elite 8, meaning there are 8 teams left out of hundreds of D1 lacrosse teams. During these games we must win to survive and advance. It has been about 40 years since UMass has made it back to the Elite 8, making this win historic, but we are not done yet!! Being a part of this team is an unforgettable feeling, knowing that working together and having each other’s backs when facing tough games (such as double overtime) is a feeling that will always stick with us. We never stop believing in ourselves as a team and knowing that it takes everyone in their own way on/off the field to win is truly what a team is made of!

As all of this is taking place and we are currently preparing for our next game! We have done a little shopping to help us relax 🙂 haha
