Bonjour Montréal!

This weekend was a total spur of the moment decision to go to Montréal! But not just for any reason- as some of you know my boyfriend plays hockey for the Canadiens organization! So exciting- an unreal feeling seeing all his hard work he puts in pay off. Complete last minute decision but totally worth it to get the crew back together (anne & her boyfriend were there as well)! The four of us all went to school together and are extremely close, all of us are crazy busy all the time with work and living in different places so any time we get to spend together its definitely worth it. Plus lots of much needed laughs 🙂

Montréal is such a beautiful city. If any of you get a chance to take a trip I highly recommend it! Its historic, lively, romantic and full of fashion. Montreal you have some serious character- I could stare at the architecture of the churches and buildings all day. We stayed downtown and walked everywhere- to the game at night and the amazing shopping during the day. Something else I love about my time in montreal is the fans- dating a canadian I know how much hockey means to them but witnessing it live at the Bell Centre is an experience in itself. Montreal speaks more french it seems than english. I find it amazing and envious that mostly everyone it seems is bilingual! I just want to learn a couple words and i’m struggling! Anyone have any tips for learning a new language?!
