Its crazy to believe a little over a week a go baby Mason was born! My water broke Sunday night and we headed in to the hospital. He took his time coming, 14 hrs to be exact, but he is so worth it. We are so thankful for all the well wishes and comments! He is so loved! It has been a busy week with little sleep and worry but my husband has been so good and thankfully home to help! I know I love reading maternity/ baby blogs because now obviously it applies to me, but if not, please check out my sisters posts:) especially yesterday because how cute are these shorts?

I love reading reviews and what works ect, especially being a first time Mom, however I am still learning, obviously!! So here is a little week in review, including things I forgot to buy and what I really didn’t use in the first week !

Hospital Bag/Stay

Loved my maternity robe c/o shoppinkblush and wore socks (love this brand )with cheap flip flops pretty much the entire time.

Didn’t use hair dryer, extra pillows or sneakers ( I guess I brought to wear home but just ended up wearing these) Nipple pads…didn’t use. I guess everyone is different but it does take a few days for milk to come in. (had no idea)

Forgot to buy nipple cream… yes. The nurse recommended this kind!

Bring Drinks! I just remember being so thirsty my entire stay I sent my husband out to buy seltzer and italian ice LOL!

Belly Bandit – I got the BFF in size small. Its working so good! I put it on the day after he was born and it would barely fit and now its almost too big! I swear it helped shrink me back to almost normal… well not quite yet!

Bow Swaddle – needed this for a photo shoot.

First Week Home

Car seat- Had been driving around with this for over a month in my car. No idea I was supposed to have an infant insert! It was the first thing I ordered when we got home. Anyways, love the uppababy carseat because it is really easy to use.

Fisher price swing– this is probably the most used item so far. A gift from his uncle and aunt! He has been sleeping nights and napping in this. It eases my mind because it is slanted.

Nursing Bras – obsessed with these Bravado designs ones

Pumping Kit– Will get back on review of this.. just came today, but so far so good! It will be nice to have bottles on hand. Mason is always eating!

Blankets- Love Aden and Anais and Little Giraffe

Love these disposable changing pads saved me from washing his cover already quite a few times!

I had to run out and get more newborn diapers before the week was over. Not too sure about the Honest diapers I had to have. They are still a little big for newborn size!

I have been living in outfits like below. I highly recommend these align pants I wore them during pregnancy too. Super stretchy so dont really size up.

Treasure and Bond Tee– comes in a few colors and only $25. So soft!

Uppa Baby Stroller – Love this gift from my sisters. It is so easy to use and lightweight! Mason and I have been starting a morning walk routine before it gets too hot during the day.

Onesies– Waiting for him to fit into his outfits still.

Solly Baby Wrap – love putting him in this and being able to do things around the house
