With the start of September comes the beginning of fall, official end of summer and the feeling of having 1000X things to do! It’s so sad when summer ends and everyone goes back to their homes and jobs (my mom, aunts & cousin are all teachers). Below I listed a few goals and things on my mind for the fall + how I’m staying organized.
1. Workouts & staying consistent
I started getting back in my routine last week working out 4-5 times a week. With travel for work coming up it was important to start this routine now! K & I started a goal for this week as well to workout out Monday- Friday. Having a goal or event to look forward to definitely helps keep us on track! Our lacrosse alumni weekend is at the end of the month! (we both played D1 lacrosse at UMASS)
2. Make time for fall activities
Fall is the best time of the year and comes and goes so fast! Don’t hesitate grab that pumpkin now or plan a quick morning cider donut run to the local farm. Also, it’s a great time to break out the fall outfits before the winter comes!
3. Book a place for bachelorette party!
This has been something we’ve been talking about! It’s so fun thinking about and starting to plan. This is on my list because any home rentals especially in beach towns book up fast!!! Stay tuned for more details to come ๐ Let me know your favorite places for bach parties! DM us on insta ๐
4. Stay organized
Staying organized is a main focus for us working full-time along with blogging full-time. # 1 advice is expect that everything can’t get done in one day. # 2 PLAN PLAN PLAN. This might seem simple, but we’ve never been good planners. I think these past few months I have definitely put an emphasis on this and it feels SO good to have plans with girls, trips home, bridesmaids dress shopping booked!
5. Keep up with skincare
I’ve heard great things about this TULA eye brighting balm and have been dying to try! Also, I’ve seen that using this rose water spray and this eye cream have helped my skin stay clear. Planning on grabbing this set when traveling. Also, I’ve been using this foundation and it is SO breathable! See Kate’s make-up routine HERE
