Sharing a little update as I headed into the 3rd trimester this week! Just about 29 weeks and feeling so excited, anxious, eager etc. I can’t wait for May to get here, especially since being with baby Hudson! I’ve been feeling so much better (knock on wood) since I hit 25 weeks (my doctor said this could happen) and feeling more energized, less migraines/ nausea, feeling comfortable. I know I probably only have a few weeks of this comfort left lol but I will take it!
I’m really missing my family and all being together. Especially, since we missed Christmas back in MA due to having covid. It’s been a lot of FaceTime calls, planning and talks with my husband to keep me balanced. I’m so use to traveling, running, exercising and since the past 25 weeks it’s like this built up anxiety that now I’m afraid to do too much or start something that I haven’t been doing. I also feel like the past few weeks have been soo slow lol I’m just excited for baby boy to get here and to see all my siblings + their babies in a few weeks!
The last week I’ve been waking up at 5am and feeling restless! I know Kate went through this a lot so definitely taking to her has been helping. I don’t know why but 1000x thoughts feel the need to run through my head at that hour!
What I’m doing to prepare:
- So far we have a bunch of items like a crib, mattress, Halo bassinet, a bunch of clothes that we have been compiling. I haven’t started to get anything ready or set up, I know a bunch of people have their nurseries ready at an early stage (which is so great) but for me I think I will start in a few weeks!
- Still thinking about a changing table. I like this one for his room/ upstairs and this one for downstairs.
- Keeping up with my hydration still!
What I’m doing to cure that eagerness:
- Keeping busy! Whether it’s with laundry, household chores, baking & working just keeping my mind busy helps to cure that anxious/eager feeling
- Adding in a walk outside (when I feel I didn’t move a lot during the day) If I get hidden movements in around the house, target runs etc than I’ll watch how much I walk
- Simple plans like grabbing a coffee. I usually make coffee at home during the week, but it’s like a small, special treat that makes me get out during the day! Coffee runs = happiness
- Weekend drives & music

It’s getting harder & harder to get dressed every day! I still want to be in my routine of getting dressed, feeling put together everyday. Here are a few finds in my cart!
