Hi All! I am Grace, the oldest of @pinesandpalms3 for anyone new around here. We are an air force family and have lived in GA for a year now exactly. Last week my husband was gone for a week for the first time in a while and I have to say its a little more difficult now that Jackson is running around everywhere. I have two boys, Mason (3 ) and Jackson (17 months). They are just non stop as I am sure a lot of you moms can relate. Last week was just survival mode. We missed our occasional trip to target or sit down in Zaxbys for sure. However, I wanted to compile of list of some of my must haves to help with time or convenience. Please send me yours to share! I’m just briefly touching on the subject, I m sure you all have a lot more ideas! Oh and I will need to do another post about outdoor toys because that is too long! LOL!
- I have such thick hair it seriously would take two hours to dry! I typically shower at night or nap time and hours later use this brush it takes about 3-5 min at that point and makes my hair feel so smooth!
- Does anyone else find it super hard to make a grill cheese? I swear by this panini press. I can add cold cuts , cheese, veggies ect. It is pretty fast and easy clean up. My exact one is $70 off
- Kiddie Pool- The boys want to be outside all day. We have a basic kiddie pool we use in the shade of the garage everyday! I added dish soap last week and hid toys under for a treasure hunt lol
- Found this affordable sunblock spray. It is a must here in GA. The sun is so strong.
- We also love these little hats that cover the back of their neck.
- Stroller- 100% best and most used for me. We have the mesh net for bug protection and cup holder for coffees and a stroller fan. I have this exact double stroller. It is worth every penny!
- Make the bed twice. So on top of the sheets put another mattress pad then another set of sheets. This helps when your super tired. I recently started doing this and has saved me a couple times
- Yeti Mug because it saves you from heating your coffee all morning!
- Frozen marshmallows- I know, sounds strange right? Well at least once a day on a good day someone is crying about a fall. These are an easy to grab in a plastic bag and throw on the boo boo. Usually they are so distracted with the marshmallows they forget why they are crying . I actually love these plastic bags. I use them to snacks in and leftovers. They are dishwasher friendly!
- Car picnics- Grab some drive through and park in a safe spot to watch some trucks or maybe go to a spot of grass somewhere
