Workout Wednesday- Staying Motivated

Hi Guys! Real talk, Anne & I have been trying to stay motivated this summer and with so many summer actives some times that is hard. Some times it feels like we get in a really good swing of things working out 4-5 times a week and feeling good, then the next week we are busy and skip a whole week. Then it feels like we are starting from scratch and loose all our progress from the week before. Here are some steps & what we are doing to stay motivated this summer.

1. Remembering that there is always time for a workout- most mornings Anne & I will wake up and run for 30 minutes before the work day starts. In college we worked all day at a restaurant all day and would be exhausted but knew we needed to get in a workout so even if it was 530 am or 10pm we would so something!
2. Doing Abs & Arms everyday- 3 sets of 15 push-ups alternated with abs of your choice (30 toe touches, 20 cruches, 10 sit ups) Even if we can’t do a running workout every day we are trying to stay strong.
3. Even if we’re busy or traveling we are going to try to skip the amount of days off we take. Even if we can only do something once in 5 days, it’s something.
4. Setting goals! These help keep us in line!
