My first Wedding Wednesday update! So far we have pretty much secured a date and venue (still finishing up details on both). As well as decided on our save the dates and wedding invitations! Today, I couldn’t be more excited to talk about our experience picking out the most perfect diamond ring with Barmakian Jewelers. Joel and I have talked about taking the next step in our relationship for some time now, so when it came time to make it official, we knew the place that we would go to would be Barmakian Jewelers.
Barmakian Jewelers is a place that my family, generation after generation, has gone to for not only diamonds, but all their jewelry. Grace’s beautiful diamond ring is from them as well! I remember being a little girl, Anne and I always going into Barmakian with my grandma and mom, always dreaming of the day when it was our turn to wear a Barmakian diamond ring.
Barmakian Jewelers is a family owned and operated jeweler located at three locations in Nashua, New Hampshire as well as Framingham and Boston, Massachusetts. They are one of the largest curators of diamonds in New England for over 100 years! Offering high quality diamonds at prices that are competitive to other retailers!
My favorite part about visiting is that everyone that works at Barmakian understands that this is a big moment and a new chapter in your life. They do not rush you or pressure you into anything. When I couldn’t find a diamond I liked at first, Cheryl went out of her way to bring more diamonds in to provide countless options all within our price range. I never wanted to put the pressure of picking out a diamond ring on Joel. When we talked about taking the next steps we talked about how picking it out would be just as special if we did it together! After being together for close to seven years I think it is completely normal to do this! I had no idea when Joel was picking it up and it didn’t take away from my complete surprise engagement!
Picking out the perfect ring:
There is so much to decide upon when picking out your forever diamond ring! There are many different styles and settings like halo, cushion cut, round, oval, square, tiffany, princess cut, the list can go on and on. It was a hard decision to make, I thought that I wanted a halo, but honestly working with Barmakian they helped me find a ring that was perfect and exactly what I wanted. My ring is an oval cut with a beautiful diamond band. They truly work with you to make sure you are as happy as possible and that your dream ring within your budget does really exist.
