I know we have been sharing a lot of workout wear lately, but with the Nsale going on its so good!
Going on almost 10 weeks post partum, wanted to share a little bit of my weight loss journey. I still have around 5 lbs to go. So writing this will help me stay on track, as I have read what works best. ๐
- I wore this belly bandit everyday and night for about 6 weeks. They say to leave it on as much as you can stand it. I honestly thing it helped! ย This one is part of the nordstroms sale going on right now. Also this set here.
- Drink water… Its so tough for me to constantly drink water because I have never really liked it. I always have to add fruit. I also order coconut water
- Walk everywhere. This is a challenge for me, working full time from home in the heat of the summer. When Mason was first born, it wasn’t too hot yet and we were able to take some long walks, but now I try to get out and walk on the treadmill most nights. We can’t wait to go jogging with this Bob Stroller.
- Small meals… Keeps me energized all day. Typically I ll have oatmeal or yogurt for breakfast, a english muffin with PB and fruit for lunch and salad and some protein and grains for dinner. For snacks, I love apples and PB, cheese sticks, avocado and toast and bananas. ย I love walmart grocery pick up because I can order from my couch and don’t have to take Mason inside. Having healthy foods around instead of nothing helps!
- New work out clothes… Always make me feel better. Especially these high waisted leggings (below) I also own the black pair and actually wear them mostly with sweaters and booties
- Give it time… at least this is what my mom tells me
- Sleep… still working on this one, but if you can nap when the baby does it helps.
- Get a partner. Sometimes my husband will do Kayla BBG with me if Mason is sleeping. It helps to have someone to push you, or in my case so I don’t cheat.
- Breastfeeding
- I turned to pinterest for some at home workout ideas. To break up the day someones I ll try to do 15 pushups, 25 crunches and 25 squats a few times. I also have these adjustable dumbbells that I can just grab and do lunges or arm exercises whenever.
