Happy Friday! This weekend Anne & I are headed back to our alum mater to play in our lacrosse alumni game! Can’t wait to get back to our college town and see our teammates! It’s always so hard getting together once you graduate, that’s why we look so forward to events like this!

Earlier this week I watch my mom bake apple crisp- recipe below! I’ve probably watched her 100 times make it, but this time I actually listened and took notes! I promised Joel I’d make it for him in Texas!

Apple Crisp Recipe

Thinly slice 8-10 apples (we used macintosh or cortland) into bowl.
Add 2 tsp ground cinnamon, quarter cup of sugar, tablespoon of lemon juice & mix it!
NEXT: Crust- we use Jiffy pie mix– follow directions on package for mixing then roll it out thinly to cover pie dish- we used this dish!
ADD your apples to the pie dish!
NEXT for the topping- Stick butter lightly soften, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup regular sugar, 3/4 cup flour & 1/2 cup oatmeal! Use THIS to mix it together.
Once you see if start to crumble together, add it to the top of the pie.
BAKE @ 350 for 1:20 minutes
Add ice cream & Enjoy!
